What can I use KCash for other than printing?
KCash on your KSU ID card can be used as an on-campus debit account. There are two accounts associated with your ID card. One is the general declining balance account (KCash) and the other one is the Dinning Dollars account. Funds can be pre-loaded into both accounts at KCash machines on campus, or online.
With the fund in the general declining balance account (KCash), card holders can purchase anything on campus anywhere that accepts KCash debit. The funds in this account do not expire and will roll over year-to-year. However, after 12 months of account inactivity, your account will be cleared and any remaining balance will be returned to KSU.
Examples of places that take KCash are:
- Bookstores on both Kennesaw and Marietta campuses
- The Market
- Some vending machines equipped with KCash card swipers
- Wellness and Recreation Center on both campuses for equipment and services
With Dining Dollars (which are only available for students), students can purchase tax-free food at any retail dining location on both campuses.
IMPORTANT: Fall and spring Dining Dollars are valid during the fall and spring contract periods and any unused funds from the current academic year expire at the close of each spring contract period. Summer Dining Dollars are valid during the summer only and unused funds expire at the close of the summer contract period.
