There are two ways to find fiction books in our libraries:

Library Catalog:

You can always search our online catalog for a specific book. If you would like to limit your search for fiction books only, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Library Webpage and click on the Books tab
  2. Click on Advanced Search
  3. In the first search box, type your search term(s). On the second line, select “Subject” from the drop-down menu, then type "fiction" in the search box. The search results should include all the fiction books on your searched term(s).

Popular Book Areas:

Both Sturgis Library and Johnson Library have a small popular book area where you can browse or read fiction and best sellers. At Sturgis Library, these books are located on the ground floor across from the Check Out Desk. At Johnson Library, they are located on the first floor in the casual reading area next to the Hive Computer Lab. You may also search for these books by following the steps as you search for fiction books, then from the Location list, select “Sturgis Feature Bookcase” or “Johnson Feature Bookcase.”
