In the Library

Government documents are kept on the third floor of the Sturgis Library.  This includes documents in print, microfiche, and on CD & DVD.  The Microfiche, CD's, and DVD's are in filing cabinets against the wall and the print items are on the shelves.  Materials are organized differently than items in the general collection, using the Superintendent of Documents (SuDoc) classification system rather than the Library of Congress classification system.

Many online government publications are listed in the library catalog. To find them, search for your topic. On the results page, select "Full Access Online".

After choosing the item you want to view, select the "View it" link:

Then select "view full text":

Our research guide can also show you how to find government documents and statistics online.
