What is the login to EBSCOHost? Why don't the links that I saved for the articles that I found work?

Logging In

When you're on campus, no login is needed to access almost any of our databases. If you access databases from off-campus you will need your NetID and Password.

EBSCO and some other databases allow you to set up a personal username and password combination that will let you save searches and files from one session to another. This is a handy tool if you are doing many or large research projects.

To start this process, click "Sign In"  on the top, right-hand of the page, then click on "Create a New Account," and enter your personal information.

Saving Links

When you find articles though our databases and want to bookmark them or link back to them, you usually cannot use the link provided in the browser's URL - you need the "persistent link" provided by the database.

Databases are different and place the option for a persistent link in different places, so you may have to look around a little. Below is an example of the location of the correct link to use from our SuperSearch - notice they call it a Permalink.
