How do I access articles and databases from off-campus?
Answer
SuperSearch & GALILEO
NETID: For off-campus access to most subscribed resources at Sturgis Library, you will be prompted for your NetID and password. For more information about your NetID or to activate your NetID or to change your password, please see the NetID Website.
GALILEO
GALILEO PASSWORD: In some situations, the Galileo password will be needed. You can look up the current password by logging in to your D2L Account or Library Account. Note that the Galileo password changes every semester.
Personalized Accounts:
PERSONAL ACCOUNTS: Several of our services require you to create you own personal account or register before you can use the full features of the site from off campus, or in some cases, even on campus. These include eBooks on Ebscohost, RIA Checkpoint, and RefWorks. You will need to complete this registration from an on-campus computer so that the service will recognize your account as associated with Kennesaw State University.
DATABASE PASSWORD: Where the database service has its own unique password and is not authenticated through the KSU proxy, our database link will display the required login information, including the password. If you are off campus as you access this look-up page, the KSU proxy will first authenticate you as a valid KSU user.
