Answer

Upon joining the KSU Retirees Association for a minimum Foundation donation of $20 per year, retired employees are given an identification card with a barcode that can be used as a library card.

Retirees may check out up to 12 books for three weeks. There are neither ILL privileges for retirees nor remote access to databases.  While NetIDs and email accounts for retirees remain active regardless of joining the KSU Retirees Association, database resources may only be accessed on campus.

Emeritus Faculty, however, will retain access to database resources off campus by using their NetIDs and passwords and can also request books through ILL and GIL.

For more information and to view the other benefits of joining, please visit the KSU Retirees Association website.
