How do I look up plays or play scripts in the library?

One of the easiest ways to do this is to use our catalog. It is the Books tab under Research Tools on the library's homepage. Enter the play's title, and the last name of the author. Do an "all fields" search. It will likely find your play.

Look very carefully at your search results. Even if you don't find a separate single copy of your play, searching this way also has the ability to look "inside" collections and anthologies to find plays. Click on the book's title and see if there is a table of contents listing. You may find your play there.

Also, be sure to notice where the script or anthology you want is located. The Sturgis library (General Collection) and the Performing Arts Library (Music Stacks) both have play scripts.
