Question

Q: Can I check a book out from the general collection?

Answer

Yes, books located in the General Collection can be checked out. Find what book(s) you want in our SuperSearch on our homepage, then come to the Sturgis Library (Kennesaw) or Johnson Library (Marietta) to locate them using the call number and take your items to the Check Out Desk on the Ground Floor of the Sturgis Library (Kennesaw) or the 1st floor of the Johnson Library (Marietta). Make sure to have your Student ID card with you.

Items that cannot be checked out are located in Reference or Microfilm/Microfiche. Print journals shelved in the general collection cannot be checked out. These items, like encyclopedias and dictionaries, can be used anywhere in the library.

See this FAQ for where books are located.
