Q: I'm a faculty member at KSU. Why can't I renew my books?


Items owned by the KSU Libraries cannot be renewed online by faculty members, because they are checked out for a full academic year. If you are a faculty member and would like to renew your library books, you will need to physically bring them to the Check Out Desk at either Johnson Library in Marietta or Sturgis Library in Kennesaw. Our staff will then check them back out to you for another year. This will also help you avoid fines and fees associated with lost or overdue items.

Faculty members should be able to renew GIL Express books online.

Library accounts for faculty members expire in the library system every year in August, and are renewed when Banner is updated. If the renewal date seems incorrect (sometimes our system expiration dates do not match up with school dates), please contact a staff member at the numbers below.
