Q: Why is my Institutional ID not working?
Your institution ID is your KSU ID number located on the front of your KSU ID card.
You should not need to log into any library resources using your KSU ID number. If you need to log in to any library resources, they will ask for your NetID and password.
If you are having trouble logging into your account, it may be because you are not in our system yet. Banner updates the system, including library accounts, after the drop/add period (about two weeks after school starts). If you want to create your account before that time, you must bring your ID to any library location and show it to a staff member at the Check Out Desk. They can manually add you to the system.
