Q: Does the library have private study rooms?
Neither Sturgis Library nor Johnson Library have any private study spaces for individual students. Both libraries have designated quiet study spaces. Areas labeled "Graduate Library" are quiet study areas. They are open to all students (not just graduate students) and have individual study carrels. All study carrels are first come, first served, and cannot be reserved or assigned.
Groups of 2 or more students can reserve group study rooms at Sturgis Library, or collaborative technology rooms at both Sturgis and Johnson Libraries. Johnson Library's group study rooms cannot be reserved or assigned, and are available for groups of 2 or more students on a first come, first served basis.
