Q: How can I get free access to the New York Times?

KSU students, faculty, and staff can create a personal account to access the New York Times for free. Create your account by following these steps:

  1. Go to
  2. Type "Kennesaw State University" into the "Find School..." search box. Select Kennesaw State University
  3. Follow the directions for on- or off-campus
  4. Create an account by filling out the form and clicking "Sign up." You must use your KSU email address

You now have full access to the New York Times website. Your New York Times account is good for one year from the date and time you sign up. The free digital subscriptions are sponsored by the KSU American Democracy Project (ADP) and Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement (CLDE) Initiative, a well as the KSU Office of the Provost.
