Question

Q: How do I find dissertations or theses?

Answer

The KSU Library system provides access to many databases that contain dissertations and theses as well as the Digital Commons that provides access to KSU student dissertations and theses.

General: Databases

  1. From the Library Homepage, click on Databases by Subject & Type under the SuperSearch box.
  2. In the list on the right side in the Databases by Information Type box choose Dissertations and Theses.
  3. The most useful database in this list is ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global. It includes millions of searchable citations to dissertations and theses from 1861 to the present day together with over a million full-text dissertations that are available for download in PDF format.

KSU specific: Digital Commons

  1. For KSU-specific dissertations and theses, navigate to the Digital Commons @ Kennesaw State University.
  2. Choose Theses, Dissertations and Capstone Projects under the pull down called "Types of Works."
