Q: How do I find a company's 10K or Annual Report?
You can find annual reports and 10Ks for publicly traded companies in Mergent Online using these steps:
- Starting on the Library Homepage, click "Find a Database" and open Mergent Online from the list of databases. You can find more detailed instructions on finding a database in our FAQs.
- Enter the company's name or symbol in the search box.
- Find the company in the search results. Click the link to go to the company details page.
- On the company details page, click "Reports" to access the company's Annual Reports and/or 10Ks.
Mergent Online contains information about public companies from the United States and around the world. To find information about private companies, you will need to try another database. Our FAQ "How can I find information about a particular company?" explains different databases you can use to research public and private companies.
Most public companies will also provide their annual reports on their websites. Look for "investor relations" to find financial information about the company.
Keep in mind that private companies are not required to file reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission, so you usually will not be able to find financial reports from them.
