Question

Q: Where can I find a permanent link to an eBook?

Answer

You can use permanent links, or "permalinks", to access an eBook from any computer.

Via SuperSearch or other EBSCO eBook databases:

  1. On the search results page, click the title of the book.
  2. On the book's record page, click the "Permalink" icon under the "Tools" menu on the right side of the page.
The "permalink" icon is in the "Tools" menu
  3. A bar will pop up at the top of the page with the permalink in it.

Via ProQuest ebrary:

  1. On the search results page, click the title of the book.
  2. On the book's "Detail page," click "Share Link to Book" on the left side of the page.
Click "Share Link to Book" on the left side of the page, under "Read Online" and/or "Full Download"
  3. A window will pop up in the center of the page with a permalink in it.

If you need help finding permalinks for eBooks in other databases, please ask a librarian.
