Question

Q: What is InCites?

Answer

InCites is a database that allows users to analyze productivity and researchers' output using citation analytics.

To access this database, click on the Find a Database link on the library homepage and select the letter I at the top of the page, scrolling down until you find the link to InCites, listed alphabetically.  You will have to create an account by entering your email (school or personal email), creating a password, and filling out some user profile information.

Once logged in, you can browse the website based on subjects under the analytics bar, searching for a particular journal title or auther name to find data related to their names.  You can also run InCites System Reports at the bottom of the screen under Analytics, or use links to other features such as Journal Citation Reports, EndNote, or Web of Science at the top.
