Question

Q: How do I find a SWOT Analysis?

Answer

A SWOT Analysis provides detailed information about a company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

The best database for finding a SWOT analysis is Business Source Complete (Company Search Interface):

1. From library's webpage, click on Find a Database

Library homepage with "Find a Database" link highlighted with a red frame.

2. Find and click Business Source Complete (Company Search Interface). Databases can be located by browsing to the first letter of the database name or searching the database name. (NOTE that there are two Business Source Complete databases. Select the one with "Company Search Interface" in parentheses).

"Find a database" library webpage with the letter "B" highlighted by a red circel.

3. On the right side of the screen, you will see the Browse column with a list of search limiters/options. Click on SWOT Analysis. On the next screen, type the name of the company in the Browse for box and click on Browse.

"Business Search Complete" webpage with the "SWOT Analysis" menu option highlighted with a red circle.

A list of results should be displayed. All should have a PDF link for full text report.
