Q: Can I schedule a library orientation session?
The KSU Library System provides two types of library orientations to meet the needs of new students. Please review the following information to select the orientation that is most appropriate for your class!
- First-Year Seminar Library Orientation: This asynchronous library orientation is intended for all first-year seminar classes. It will provide students with an introduction to library resources and services. The orientation should take your students no more than 30-minutes to complete. You can access this orientation by visiting the Library Orientation information page.
- 30-minute Library Services by Major Workshops: This 30-minute session is intended for lower-division classes and will introduce students to library services for specific academic majors. These sessions work well for classes without a defined research component. These sessions may also be followed by a subsequent 60-minute session to provide your students with two opportunities to learn about library services and research resources. You can schedule this session by going to the Undergraduate Instruction Request page.
Please contact Christina Holm, the KSU Library System Instruction Coordinator, at email@example.com if you have any questions or concerns.
