Question

Q: When trying to get on GALILEO from home, it says incorrect SID. It does not even take me to the password page.

Answer

Even though many students, faculty, and staff have experience using GALILEO for their research, SuperSearch is the same as GALILEO. When you use SuperSearch, you don't need to learn a new password each semester. To use SuperSearch if you are off campus you will simply input your NetID and password to login. 

You can continue to use GALILEO by going directly to GALILEO logging in with the GALILEO password. This process may bypasses the problem you are having. 

You can find the current GALILEO password through your Library Account or stop by any Library Check Out desk to obtain the password in person.
