Q: How can I print if my student ID doesn't work?

Answer

If your student ID doesn't work when you tap it on the copiers, you can swipe it through the scanner on the guest printers. You need to use a printer that has a card slider attached. Each library has 1 or 2 printers with this card slider attached.

The Guest Printer in Sturgis Library is located in between the cabinets on the back wall near the stairwell of the ground floor of the library. Another guest printer is located on the first floor. The Guest Printer at Johnson Library is the printer on the right in the Hive Computer Lab.​

After you print as normal, go to the guest printer to release the print job. Swipe your KSU ID card on the side of the printer. A list of your pending documents will be shown, and you can select the job you wish to release.
