Question

Q: Do KSU libraries have group study rooms?

Answer

Group Study Rooms

  • Both Sturgis Library at Kennesaw and Johnson Library at Marietta have group study rooms that must be reserved.
  • All study rooms are for currently enrolled KSU students only* and must be used for a group of 2 or more people. Be sure to check into your reserved study room at the Check Out Desk at your reservation time.
  • All study rooms come equipped with white boards. Replacement dry erase markers and erasers are available at the Check Out Desks.
  • Reserve a study room at either Sturgis Library (Kennesaw) or Johnson Library (Marietta).

Quiet Study Spaces

  • Neither Sturgis Library nor Johnson Library have any private study rooms for individual students.
  • Both libraries have designated quiet study spaces.

Computer Labs

  • Neither KSU library has a quiet computer lab.
  • Sturgis Library in Kennesaw has a computer classroom on the ground floor (room G-12) that is usually quieter than the rest of the Learning Commons, but it is not a quiet room.
  • At Johnson Library in Marietta, the Hive computer lab is part of the main floor and can get fairly loud.
  • At either library, you can check out laptops at the Check Out Desk and use them in the quiet areas of the library.
