Books checked out by someone else may not be recalled. However, you may place a hold on a book that is checked out. Once you place a hold on a book, you are the next one in line for the book and the Library System will notify you when it is returned.

If you can't wait for the book to be returned, you can also try requesting it through GIL Express or Interlibrary Loan.
