Q: Does the library forgive late fees?

During October 2017, the KSU Library System is offering a one-time amnesty on fines and fees for returned overdue books from the library collections.

Fines and fees will only be waived for books returned between October 1 and October 31. This amnesty does not include fines or fees for reserves, GIL Express books, interlibrary loan items, damaged materials, or on any items returned prior to October 1, 2017.

To ensure that your fees are waived, you must return your items to the Check Out Desk and notify the staff member at the desk that you wish to take advantage of the amnesty. Library staff are not responsible waiving fees for books returned in book drops.

For more information, please visit the library's Fines Amnesty page.
