Chat service is usually available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This schedule may change during university and national holidays.

On the following days, the Library and University are closed. From 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on the holidays listed below, chat service will be unavailable.

• New Year’s Day
• Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas

On the following days, the Library and University are open. Chat will be available only from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on these days:

• New Year's Eve
• George Washington’s Birthday/Presidents' Day
• Columbus Day
• Veterans Day

Chat service will reopen at midnight following these federal holidays.
