Question

Q: Can I search all of the nursing databases at one time?

Answer

We don't technically have that function, but you can search for a particular discipline in the Advanced Search in SuperSearch which will search many databases at one time.

1.     On the library homepage, enter your search terms into the main search box, SuperSearch.

The library homepage Super Search field with the keyword "hypertension" entered in it and a red arrow pointing to the "Search" button.

2.     Once SuperSearch opens, select "Advanced Search" beneath the search box.

A GIF showing the "Advance Search" selection being chosen on the keyword "hypertension." Then the "Nursing & Allied Health" box being selected in the "Search Option box."

3.    In the box titled, Choose a Discipline to Search, select "Nursing & Allied Health." This will limit the results to only those related to nursing.

Not all nursing databases are included in Supersearch. The complete list of recommended nursing databases is here. From the library homepage choose the Databases by Subject & Type link under the SuperSearch box and choose Nursing in the box on the left side.
