Q: How do I find a book in the library?

Answer

Using the Books tab on the library homepage:

  1. Enter your keywords.
  2. On the search results page, click "Books" under "Format."

Using the SuperSearch box on the library homepage:

  1. Enter keywords, title, or author(s).
  2. Select keyword, title, or author option using the buttons below the box.
  3. Limit by "Source Type" to Books on the left side of the page once you see the search results.

Finding a book by Call Number:

  1. Go to the library homepage.
  2. Click on the Book tab. Then click on the Advanced Search link under the search box.
  3. In the menu at the top of the page, click on Browse Search link.
  4. From the "Browse by" drop-down menu, select Library of Congress call numbers, then type the call number in the search box.
  5. Click on BROWSE to see a list of books in order by call number, beginning with the call number you entered in the box.

If you can't find the book you need in the KSU catalog, you can request materials from another university.
