Question

Q: How long does it take for Interlibrary Loan items to arrive?

Answer

It depends on the type of material and where it is coming from. On average, it takes 7 to 10 days for physical items to arrive in the mail. It usually takes 1 to 3 days for article requests to be filled, and these will be delivered to your KSU email address. However, there are a number of determining factors, such as the item's availability and the distance of the lending library, that can impact wait times for ILL materials.  The Resource Sharing Team recommends that patrons allow up to three weeks to receive items requested through ILL.
