Question

Q: Can I place a book on hold? Can you pull a book from the shelf and hold it for me to pick up?

Answer

Due to limited staff, we cannot pull books from our shelves for patrons. Books on the shelf are first come, first served.

If a book is checked out, you can place a request for the book by following the instructions for requesting a book from another KSU library. You can submit choose to pick the book up at either Johnson Library in Marietta or Sturgis Library in Kennesaw. 

Once the book is returned, we will place it on the hold shelf under your name. You will receive an email through your KSU email. Make sure to bring your KSU ID with you to pick up the book.

If we do not have the book you need, you can request the book from another library in the University System of Georgia via GIL Express.
