Q: How do I check out a book from home?

Answer

We are not able to pull books for students and put them on hold if they are available in the library. You can put a hold on a book that is already checked out. You can also request a book from another University System of Georgia school using GIL Express and pick it up at one of the KSU Libraries.

You can search our books from the library home page by clicking on the "Books" tab. The results will include listings of both physical and electronic material. (For directions on how to limit your results to print books only, click here.)

You can find physical material at Sturgis Library at Kennesaw Campus and Johnson Library at Marietta Campus using the information you find in the catalog (Location, Call #). Books are first come first serve.

Electronic material (eBooks) can be read online by clicking the link under the item in the catalog. For more detailed directions, please click here.
